How do I play with friends?

One player taps Play Online → Create a game and gets a 4-letter code. Everyone else taps Join with a code and enters it. Up to 4 players — phones, tablets, and desktop web all join the same match. Public games also appear in Browse games, no code needed.

We can't connect to each other

Online play connects devices directly (peer-to-peer). If a connection won't go through: make sure both players are on a stable network (Wi-Fi or cellular), then have the host create a fresh code and try again. On iPhone, allow Local Network access when prompted (Settings → Apps → Black Hole Arena) — it makes same-Wi-Fi matches faster and more reliable. Very strict office or school networks can block game traffic entirely; a phone hotspot is a good fallback.

The controls aren't responding / I can't steer

On touch screens, the left half of the screen is the joystick — touch and drag anywhere on that side. The right side has two tap zones: top for the bomb, bottom for the pulse (or hold to fire the mini-gun, if you switched weapons in settings). You can swap the joystick to the right side in Settings → Controls side. On desktop: arrow keys or WASD to fly, Space for pulse, Shift for bomb.

How do I turn the music down or off?

Tap the settings button (top-right on the menu screens). Music has an on/off toggle and a volume slider; sound effects have their own toggle.

Why does my weapon sometimes not fire?

Pulse, bomb, and mini-gun all share one recharge — the ring around your ship shows it filling. When the ring is full (it glows), you can fire. The mini-gun drains the same ring a little per bullet.
